We first heard about Melinda from a good friend of ours who also adopted two cats from her. Our friend, who carefully does his research, spoke very highly of Melinda. After babysitting his cats for 3 months over the winter, we fell in love with them and just had to have our own!
We waited 3 months from when Leo and Luna were born to receive them. Melinda is very careful about not separating her kittens from their mom too early as this can lead to separation anxiety and behavioural problems. Melinda really does love her kittens. We felt very comfortable with her and had every confidence that our kitties were being well taken care of during the waiting period.
Melinda always made herself available whenever we wanted to have a video call to see Leo and Luna. She was never in a rush to get off the call. In fact, I was often the one to end the call! Melinda always answered our questions. As first-time pet owners, she provided us with great tips and suggestions as to how to best prepare for the arrival of our kittens. Most importantly, she had all their medical and health records organized in one neat folder for us to take home.
We are so happy with how easily Leo and Luna have integrated into our home. I was nervous about the 4-hour drive home from Ottawa as they had not yet travelled in a car for that length of time, but they were great! I sat in the back seat with them while my husband drove and they stayed close to me the entire way. We had lots of time to bond!
Every day is an adventure watching Leo and Luna grow and develop. The laughter never ends! I can honestly say adopting these two precious creatures is one of the best things we’ve done for ourselves! I highly recommend Melinda as a breeder. She is knowledgeable, understanding and cares deeply about her kittens.

I Can't believe Lorenzo has been with me for about two years! He's a big boy now! :D
Lorenzo has always been a well-tempered, outgoing and sweet cat. His green eyes and cute face just like his father Catticus. He is also so healthy and clean that his litter box doesn't smell at all.
It takes me less than a week to train him on learning "sit", what an intelligent boy! He brings so much happiness and accompany to me.
I sincerely appreciate Melinda's patience and help. She drove far to deliver Lorenzo to our front door with fresh raw food and brand new toys. When Lorenzo come home, he has his TICA form, proof of spay/neuter, vaccine record and everything. Melinda also provides recommendations about diet and ways to train Bengals. I can feel that she honestly loves her kittens and takes great care of them.
Taking Lorenzo home is the best decision I have ever made. Thank you so much! Borobengals definitely deserve more compliments.

First, I want to say that we absolutely love our two Bengals (Archer and Blaze) from BoroBengals. They are both so incredibly sweet and loving and were obviously brought up in a wonderful home environment. I have not even had them for a month yet and they have become so much a part of our family.
When I decided to purchase a Bengal, I contacted a lot of Breeders. Many of them had contractual requirements that required me feeding them a specific brand of cat food or did not seem to have the same passion that Melinda did.
That is why I chose BoroBengals.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we were unable to go to Ottawa to personally to visit the cattery, but Melinda video conferenced with my family and kept us updated with frequent pictures and video clips of the two Bengals that my family had chosen to adopt. Melinda has provided advice and guidance along the way and answered our many questions. She even brought the kittens directly to our home in Niagara.

Harry and Ron have been with me for three weeks and already I couldn't imagine my life without them. They are the healthiest, most well-behaved, loving kittens I have encountered, and they look a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
In November 2018, I had decided that if I were to cohabit with Bengals again, they would have to come from Borobengals in Ottawa. Out of all the Canadian websites I visited, Melinda's program clearly stood out as the most responsible and ethical.
There were no available kittens or confirmed pregnancies at the time. From our initial conversations it became obvious that Melinda is a genuine cat lover and a great human. Two weeks later a pregnancy got confirmed, the kittens' arrival estimated at January 1, 2019. I was beyond excited and the waiting began...
In early April I went to Ottawa to visit the kittens. It was my birthday and I was in for a real treat! They jumped on my lap the moment I sat down - I could hardly believe this was happening - we had a full blown love fest. How was I going to wait another month?
In early May Melinda drove the kittens half-way, at no extra cost! She had brought brand new toys for them and a good supply of their food. Later that afternoon Harry and Ron walked into their new home as if they'd always been there.
I highly recommend Borobengals: Melinda is an expert breeder, she is always available if you have questions. Her irresistible kittens come with a clean bill of health, fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and they have fantastic temperaments.

My husband and I were considering getting a Bengal but really weren't sure if it was right for us. I decided to check out local breeders and Melinda's website stood out to me. I emailed her some questions about the breed, and her response was prompt and SUPER informative but also very honest! When we finally decided to take a Bengal from her, we still had questions and concerns as the day got closer. Her responses were always prompt and detailed.
Pixel is a lovely addition to our family!! Her fur is SUPER soft and her rosettes are GORGEOUS. She is a very happy and playful kitty and super cuddly! She loves to come onto our laps and pass out while getting massages. :) All this indicates to me she was brought up in a happy positive environment with lots of love and care. Also that she is the product of two happy HEALTHY cats.
Melinda has been an amazing support from beginning to adoption, and even still now if I have questions! If you are looking to adopt a Bengal we HIGHLY recommend Melinda!!

Our experience with Melinda from the initial email exchanges to the day our little Raven came home was exceptional. It is obvious that she invests a lot of attention and time into each of the kittens in her care. This can be seen from the videos showing updates of their progress to the detailed responses she provides for any questions you may have. Simba is a blessing to have around as he is full of personality, extremely smart, and friendly to visitors. We are grateful for Melinda's guidance and professionalism. BoroBengals is certified by TICA so I felt confident in choosing Melinda to get a high quality kitten. The price was also very good because Melinda was the only one I saw that included spay/neuter. She was extremely helpful and gave very thorough answers to all my questions and lots of recommendation to ensure the best experience for both me and Bagel (formally Pink), including suggestions on what toys/supplies are effective and which ones are not. She is definitely a pet lover, and cares very deeply about both her own pets as well as the bengals she breeds.
Bagel has been with me for a week now and she has exceeded my expectations in every way! She is extremely social and has a great temperament around people. She is so lovable and playful but when it is time for a rest, she just lies down beside me so peacefully! She is absolutely charming!

We received our newest family member "Violet" a little over a week and a half ago and to be honest we were over the moon in love the moment we laid eyes on her beautifully spotted petite frame. But what really sold us on what a special little girl she was, was the way she cuddled all the way home. She had an 11 hour ride ahead of her once we picked her up and she took it all in stride with zero issues. She then proceeded to move into our home like she'd always been here! Not only has she continued to be just lovely to be round, but she has bonded to our youngest daughter and rarely leaves her side.
Melinda, not only do you breed beautiful kittens, but your care in making sure that all shots and spaying were done before she was placed in our hands is above average attention to detail and most appreciated. You can certainly tell that Violet (formerly Miss Orange) has come from a home environment that has filled her with trust and love for life. She is bold yet affectionate, takes everything in stride and regardless of the fact that she came to us later in life as she was born in August, there has been zero issue with her ability to adjust or bond with our family. She is just a gem and we are grateful to have found a breeder as caring about what they do as you!

Our family had an extra special Christmas this year as we welcomed the newest member of our family, "Buddy", a kitten from BoroBengals. What a wonderful experience from start to finish. I have been rescuing animals for years and you can tell right away that Melinda's kittens have been raised with plenty of love and affection 24 hours a day. I have never seen such an affectionate little guy that could only come from a kitten who was properly raised.
What a professional, knowledgeable and supportive breeder. 5 stars in all categories and we want to thank BoroBengals sincerely from the bottom of our hearts because we found our dream cat. We wanted a very affectionate cat who was able to stand up to a pushy dog. Surprisingly, we got it all.

We purchased our first kitten ever about 9 months ago (Bunker will be a year on Christmas Day) from Melinda. Melinda was extremely helpful ..... giving us tons of information about Bengals and was always willing to answer any questions we had.
We had 'first choice' of a litter of five. My daughter was not a 'cat' person and was a little timid around the kittens. Melinda helped us choose a kitten that she thought might be best suited for our family and boy did she nail it. Our daughter absolutely loves this cat!!

Melinda is a really professional, warmhearted breeder. She gave me a very organized portfolio about the cat she offered, including certificates, vaccinations, and great articles on caring for Bengals.
When I saw the cat the first time, I really liked her! She is as beautiful as she looked in her pictures. So far, my new cat Kero and I have been together for over six months. She is very smart and healthy!
